Flippa Ball competition with Waitakere Waterpolo
The Te Atatu Peninsula League is a Flippa Ball competition for West & Central Auckland primary schools. Games run for approx 6 – 8 weeks for all 4 terms of the year, on Sunday afternoons for all four school terms. The league is based out of Peninsula Primary’s heated indoor pool. Flippa Ball is a great sport for building water confidence (in a shallow pool) and team skills while having fun! The only equipment players require is their togs; we provide the rest. A usual team size is around 8, with 6 players in the water at once. New schools are more than welcome – let us know if you need any support in getting a team together or with coaching! We can also help individual players get involved in a combined team. If you have any questions, please email Liam at liam@waitakwaterpolo.co.nz.
Ladies Only Swimming
These weekly sessions will provide an opportunity for local ladies to access the pool during the school term. The core focus will be on practicing water safety and swimming skills. To ensure the success of these sessions, a qualified water safety instructor will be at hand to facilitate. Their role will involve providing guidance, motivation, and educational insights to help participants enhance their skills and stay motivated in their practice.
